Hello, I'm Hinal.
I'm a qualified cognitive behavioural therapist, registered with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), with over 15 years of experience working in the NHS and charity sector. I also offer evidenced based psychological interventions for trauma including EMDR.
My focus is helping South Asian women find balance in a world that can be overwhelming. I know the weight of juggling cultural expectations, family responsibilities, and personal ambitions because I’ve seen it firsthand in my work and life.
Why South Asian women?
South Asian women carry so much, whether it’s navigating the complex world of career and family, or dealing with the unspoken pressures that come from within communities, the challenges are real and often overlooked. I’m here to offer a space that understands your experience without explanation. No need to translate your struggles or worry about not being heard. I get it, and I’m here to help.
How I Work
My approach combines evidence-based therapy with a deep understanding of cultural context. What that means for you is a place where you can unpack what’s going on without judgement. Together, we’ll work on practical strategies to help you feel more in control, emotionally resilient, and empowered - whether you choose in-person sessions in London or prefer the flexibility of remote therapy.
This isn’t about fluffy self care tips or rigid solutions. It’s about finding what works for you, in your life, with your history. I bring compassion, understanding, and a belief that therapy should feel like a conversation, not a prescription. We’ll focus on what you need—whether it’s addressing burnout, trauma, low mood or simply finding a space to breathe.
Ready to Start?
You’re not alone in this. Therapy isn’t a quick fix, but it’s a space for growth, healing, and most importantly, for you. I’m here when you’re ready.

I completed my degree in Psychology in 2001, and my passion for the subject has continued to grow since. With over two decades of working in mental health services in the NHS and the charity sector, I have helped many individuals manage their anxiety, depression, trauma and other mental health challenges.
In 2023 I left my role as a therapist in the NHS to focus on my private work. My passion lies in providing quality mental health support, particularly to underserved communities.
Having grown up in a South Asian household, I have a deeper understanding of the barriers to discussing and acknowledging mental health within the South Asian community. This personal and professional experience drives my commitment to making mental health support accessible and effective for those who need it most.
