Culturally sensitive, solution-focused support for your mental well-being.

Life's difficulties can be hard to navigate alone, but you don’t have to do it without support. I offer a confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings and together we can work towards creating meaningful and positive change.

As a British Indian therapist, I understand how cultural identity, intergenerational trauma, and life experiences shape who we are. My therapy approach is collaborative and compassionate, together we’ll unpack your challenges and work on helping you find ways to feel more in control, grounded and empowered.

Offering both in-person sessions in central London and virtual therapy, I’m here to support your journey towards healing and growth.

  • Cognitive behavioural therapy is about understanding how your thoughts  and behaviours are connected. We’ll work together to break down unhelpful thought patterns and create new ways of thinking and coping that support you in your everyday life. It’s evidence based therapy that’s proven to support you whether you’re struggling with low mood, self-doubt, or just feeling stuck, CBT can give you the tools to shift your mindset and move forward.

  • The discovery call is free, and is a great way for prospective clients to learn more about my style of therapy and see whether it aligns with what you are looking for. I can also learn what you hope to gain from therapy. The call would be 15-20 minutes, no charge and no obligations.

  • It is difficult to give an exact number as it depends on the individual and the work we are doing. Typically CBT tends to be between 8-24 sessions. We will review the treatment plan regularly as we move through therapy.

  • Certain mental health issues, such as the stigma associated with mental illness, the pressure to conform to cultural norms, or the impact of intergenerational trauma, can be more prevalent in non-Western cultures. A therapist with cultural sensitivity is better equipped to address these issues because they can recognize their cultural origins and implications. This insight allows for more tailored and effective interventions that resonate with the client's lived experience.
